They were presidents of the federations and all had around 15+ states control at any one time. They supported Laws they knew would help the common man in times of trouble like the Magna Carta. The worst ever was James Buchannan. The man did nothing to stop a Civil War dueing his lame duck session and actually committed treason! The History Channel gave a very convincing argument. The worst in my lifetime was Carter! The best in my lifetime was REAGAN!

He suffered from migraines during his second term and told Madison, “You are the second happiest person today,” after Madison succeeded him.
In short, he wanted his tombstone simple and didn’t care about its upkeep.
